Alice M. James
Executive Director of the Black Authors Hall of Fame and host of the "Read This! Authors Corner" podcast. Her life's work is dedicated to bringing awareness and accessibility to the rich history, diverse voices, and powerful messages within diasporic literature and art.
With a background spanning 40 years in the fashion industry as a designer and technical director, James now applies her passion for creativity and storytelling to elevating Black authors and their transformative works. Through the Black Authors Hall of Fame and her podcast. she introduces audiences to both renowned and emerging writers, sharing how their narratives impact culture and inspire the next generation. Alice is committed to ensuring the world sees and appreciates the brilliance of Black excellence in literature.
Max Rodriguez
Founder - The Harlem Book Fair and QBR/The Black Book Review. Max has been the curator of Black Lecture for decades. Max continues to have his hand on the pulse of the literary and publishing community and is a source of vast knowledge. He is the perfect partner with whom to co-create this memorial to Black literary history. #Global I Am.
Dr. Dale G. Caldwell
President—Centenary University in Hackettstown, NJ. The Centenary Library is the academic home of the Black Halls of Fame. Dale is exceptionally passionate about highlighting the excellence in our culture. He is dedicated to uncovering the history that has been buried and amplifying it for the world to see. Dale is the Founder of the Black Tennis Hall of Fame, which was founded in 2007 and has used its success to create other Halls of Fame.

Dr. Caldwell is always seeking new ways of Educating, Uplifting, and Empowering our community.
The mission of the Harlem Book Fair is to create access to the transformative power of reading by celebrating, encouraging, and promoting literacy and literacy awareness through public programs, community participation, corporate partnerships, and in-school programs that broaden and strengthen the vitality of the African American community.
The Harlem Book Fair is the United State’s largest African-American book fair and the nation’s flagship Black literary event.
