The Black Author Hall of Fame is proud to collaborate with Centenary University Taylor Memorial Library to present an exciting Black History Event. (online) Connecting Diasporic Literature, we will highlight Jamaica's rich literary history with the book "100+ Voice for Miss Lou"; Miss Lou is considered a Cultural Icon.
Professor Opal Palmer Adise, Ph.D., will share Jamaica's "Nation Language," Miss Lou's connection to Harlem, Britain, and Canada.
Our performing artists/authors will give you a taste of the literature and language. (Andrene Bonner, Dawn Forrester Price, and Faith Nelson)
Author and Radio Host Dr. Vangella Buchanan, our moderator, will guide all this exceptional talent.
There will be "Watch Parties/Group Viewing" (1) at the Taylor Library on the Centenary University Campus (Hackettstown, NJ) and (2) at the West Indian Club in (Hartford. Ct.)
Please message me if you would like to set up a watch group.
